One thing that i learned today was that on September 1st some colleges may open there early admission applications but not ALL of them will so we have to be patient. Another thing that i learned was that on November 18- November 22 is college application week and we can wait to apply to the colleges that were on the website that week.
I learned that grants and scholarships give you money that you can keep verses getting a loan and having to pay it back. I also learned that you can apply for programs.
I learned that during college application week you can apply to certain schools without paying the application fee. I also learned that 5 school applications are not directly on CFNC, you might have to go to the schools website to apply.
I learned that there are schools in nc that are not using cfnc for applications this year and I learned that there are some schools who only accept application fee waivers at certain times.
I learned that the schools I want to apply to do not have free applications during college week. Also I learned that I can get my transcript sent to colleges via CFNC.
I learned about the college application week that I once had no idea of. I also learned that there were five schools that didn't have a CFNC account to apply to the college and that you would have to do that on their website. I also learned that on cfnc.org/fels there are loans that are given to certain majors and once you enter that field, each year you kind of work off what you borrowed.
I learned that along with scholarships you can also be awarded grants which is basically money without having to be paid back. You can also apply to colleges online during college application week where certain schools waive the application fee
I learned that there are five colleges who don't allow applications through cfnc this year. There also may be a chance that colleges may not review your applications because they dont know they have it even though they have received it.
I was super eager to begin sending in applications once we had our class. I learned that scholarships can be rewarded through grants, which is great so we don't have to pay anything back. I also learned that some colleges/universities will defer your application until mid semester grades are submitted. Early admissions varies for each school.
I learned that you can apply for colleges and apply for scholarships as well. I also learned that there are only 5 colleges that don't receive applications through CFNC.
I learned that with CFNC Transcript Manager I can upload view my recent transcript and choose whats schools I want it to be sent to. I also learned that there is a chance to qualify for FLES loan if your major is the one listed for eligibility which will pay you for choosing a career in the community service field.
I learned that there is a certain week where college applications are waived on CFNC. I also learned that there is a practice application on CFNC, so that I can practice before actually submitting the application.
I learned that most of my applications will be sent electronically to the colleges I choose to apply to.
I also learned that NC State does not have a CFNC application and I will have to send the money for the applications through mail with another copy of my application.
1. I learned about the 5 colleges that have applications outside of CFNC.
ReplyDelete2. I learned about the Forgivable Education Loans for Service program.
