    2. My Major is offered at pretty much any college in North Carolina.
    3. My ACT scores aren't what they should be, and I should probably take it again.

My thoughts while watching the video were that she had come a long way in her education to be the first person to go to college in her family. I also thought about being away from home for so long, and it's a pretty scary thing to think about. That being said, I am very very excited about going to college.

2).All the schools I am interested in are public so tuition is not that high, but adding in room and board, fees, etc the price will definitely rise.

The video gave me the outlook on being away from my parents. I understand that I will be completely on my own and I am nervous but not completely. I want to be involved in the social/non school work aspect of college so that I can make connections that I may be able to use as references.

  10. As I was looking through my top 3 colleges, I noticed that all 3 schools have the majors that I am interesting. I also meet the GPA requirements for each of the schools, which takes a little bit of stress off of my shoulders when considering this year’s grades. Lastly, I noticed that my SAT and ACT scores are a little short so I am contemplating taking them again.

Going through the information for colleges, really makes college real, not just a distant goal. Throughout my high school (and even middle school) experiences, I knew that I wanted to go to college, but I know that application is drawing near it makes me both excited and nervous.

When you have people you are comfortable with, you can easily ask questions and get help as well as enjoy your social life. Although I do believe it is important to realize quality over quantity with friends. I want to have connections and people who can show me the ropes once I move onto campus.

I am excited and nervous to take the next step.

If we get along that's nice I have a new friend and I didn't have to go looking, if we don't, I can just move rooms and maybe that new person will be a good friend!
